The Ministry of foreign Affairs suggested that today’s searches and detentions in the temporarily occupied Crimea are a revenge on Russia for the resolution of the UN General Assembly on Crimea. This was written by foreign Ministry spokesman Marian Betz on Twitter.

“Again, searches, detention in the occupied Crimea. Revenge of the Russian Federation for the resolution of the 3rd Committee of the UNGA on Crimea? We demand to stop the destruction of the indigenous people of the Crimea”, – she wrote.

The head of the Mejlis Refat Chubarov said in Facebook that the new arrests in the Crimea invaders want to compromise the representative body of the Crimean Tatars.

“Analysis of information coming from the Crimea, evidence of large-scale special operation conducted by the FSB of Russia in the occupied Crimea, the goals of which are new arrests of activists of the national movement and compromise of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people.
