For the modernization of outdated infrastructure in Ukraine needs more than $35 billion, and to provide a financial resource without private capital is impossible today. This was stated by first Deputy Prime Minister Stepan Kubiv during the presentation of the draft law on concessions, according to UKRINFORM.
“Today, for repairing the roads we direct extraordinary efforts and money. According to experts, to modernize aging infrastructure needs more than $35 billion,” – said Kubiv.
According to him, this is the amount that needs to be concentrated and diversified between projects necessary for the realization of the European standards infrastructure approach.
“Provide such financial resources is impossible without private capital, and one of the mechanisms of the development of modern infrastructure is a public-private partnership” – said Kubiv.
Earlier it was reported that as of August 18, 2017 Ukravtodor has fulfilled the annual plan for road repairs by 22%.
