Ukraine in January-September 2017 increased imports of coal and anthracite in monetary terms by 1.9 times compared to the same period last year to $1.89 billion About it reports the UNIAN with reference to data of the State fiscal service of Ukraine.

The main supplier during this period were Russia (54,9%), deliveries of which totaled $1.04 billion Second place was taken by coal from the United States (25%, or $477,9 million), and the third from Canada (of 6.1%, or $116.2 million). From other countries, Ukraine imported coal for $262,3 million.

According to Fiscal service for 9 months Ukraine exported coal and anthracite in Russia ($40.8 million), Slovakia ($28 million), Turkey ($2.5 million) and other countries ($3.9 million).

Earlier it was reported that the anthracite from the temporarily occupied areas of the Donbas arrives in Poland.
