In the Transcarpathian region at the border in Chop, there is still more than 180 detainees of cars with wood. This was reported by press Secretary of the head of the Transcarpathian regional state administration Yaroslav galas, reports UKRINFORM.

“Remains more than 180 cars with detainees forest at the border in Transcarpathia. 5 of them confiscated in the state income, the people who sent this forest, found guilty and forced through the courts to reimburse the state for 100% of the damage from cutting down the amount of forests, which was in these 5 cars. Another 17 cars confiscated as evidence in criminal proceedings about bying the documents on which timber was sent as firewood,” said galas.

According to him, through the Executive service, the forest will be taken in favor of the state. “Perhaps he will be sent to the East, for the military, after all, approaching winter, and in the Donetsk and Luhansk with the wood tight. In any case, it would be logical to send the forest up there,” said galas.

“For the month that these cars are under the sun and rain, the forest has become illiquid, so went the joke that it is now the same wagons with wood – on nothing else but this wood is not good. I think that forestry will withdraw these cars – not to lose the forest, which will be taken in favor of the state. Predictable that it will happen within a month,” says galas.

Held on August 17, the searches in the premises of the SBS, the control Center service of the chop border guard and the Western regional Department of the SBS was held to investigate illegal logging and smuggling over the border of the forest. In gpsu called the actions of the security forces “populist” campaign and stated that the military Prosecutor had exceeded his authority.

August 16, the network published a fragment of the video a search in the premises of the state border service carried out by the military Prosecutor’s office in Kiev.
