Ukrainian chess player Anna Muzychuk confirmed its decision not to go to the world championship in rapid chess, which will be held in Saudi Arabia from 26 to 30 December due to violations of women’s rights in this country. She announced this on his page in Facebook.

“In a few days I will lose both of their League titles – one after the other. Just because I decided not to go to Saudi Arabia. Don’t play by anyone’s rules, not to wear the Abaya, do not go with the escort to the street and do not feel a secondary creature,” she said.

She emphasized that “feels very bad” in connection with the forthcoming loss of titles, having won last year, “was the happiest man.”

“I am ready to fight for your principles and miss the event, which could bring more money than a dozen tournaments together,” added the second.

She also said that her sister Mariya Muzychuk, who is a grandmaster, twice champion of Ukraine, champion of world women’s 2015 and the best player of that year, shares her opinion.

It is worth Recalling that Anna Muzychuk is the current world champion in two disciplines of rapid chess (blitz and rapid).
