Naftogaz of Ukraine in the next year plans to place on foreign markets Eurobonds for $1 billion. it said the chief commercial Director of Naftogaz Yuriy Vitrenko in an interview with Bloomberg.

According to him, the placement of securities is planned for the second quarter, after the decision of the Stockholm arbitration on the dispute between Naftogaz of Ukraine and Russian Gazprom.

Naftogaz is also planning to expand attracted from the European Bank for reconstruction and development credit line to $500 million from $300 million.

Earlier it was reported that Naftogaz expects to receive from Gazprom on the results of the dispute under the contract for the transit of gas from $6.5 to $16 billion of compensation.

Naftogaz suing Gazprom in the Stockholm arbitration court with two contracts: on the transit of Russian gas to the EU via the territory of Ukraine and sale of Russian gas to Ukraine.

According to Naftogaz, the amount of the claim to Gazprom under the contract for the purchase of gas is $30.3 billion, and by Gazprom to Naftogaz – $47,1 billion.

Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm chamber of Commerce may 31, 2017 issued a separate decision on the first claim of Naftogaz to Gazprom.
