The Minister of education and science, Liliya Hrynevych on Monday will visit the headquarters of NATO, to tell the Alliance staff on the new law on education. This was reported by UKRINFORM.

The purpose of the visit, in particular, is to provide the NATO allies with the language of the law, which should adequately protect the rights of national minorities, as well as the development of the Ukrainian language.

During the visit, Grinevich will meet with representatives of countries-members of the Alliance at the ambassadorial level.

17 Oct 2017 EU high representative for foreign Affairs and security policy Federica Mogherini said that the European Union will continue dialogue with Ukraine about the problem of education of national minorities in their native language under the new education act after obtaining the opinion of the Venice Commission.
