The national Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has agreed the terms for the allocation of International monetary Fund (IMF) next tranche of financial aid under the program of expanded financing. The Chairman of the NBU Valery Gontareva said today, January 26.
“We all agreed on with the IMF. The Cabinet is now finalizing the technical issues, and I believe we will soon sign a Memorandum,” she said.
The regulator expects that this year Ukraine will receive four tranches from the IMF under the program of the eff EFF.
Yesterday it was reported that the Fund in January will not consider the issues of cooperation with Ukraine.
Earlier, Finance Minister Alexander danyluk said that Ukraine expects to receive the next tranche from the Fund in early February.
“We plan to raise around $1 billion,” the Minister said.
Last week was published the latest draft version of the Memorandum on cooperation of Ukraine with the IMF in EFF program, containing 12 structural lighthouses, seven of which are new.
