The national Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has revoked the banking group of Sberbank. According to a post on the official website, the NBU took the decision on 15 December.

The regulator has registered a banking group of Sberbank October 4, 2013. It included the savings Bank, Vs Bank and the company Sberbank Leasing Ukraine.

The reason for the closure of the Sberbank group was the closing of the sale Vs Bank Sergei Tigipko. The NBU has also updated the composition of the banking group TA by adding VI es the Bank.

The sale VI es the Bank was closed on 13 December.

23 March, Ukraine imposed sanctions for a year against all five operating in Ukraine structures of the Russian state-owned banks: the Ukrainian Sberbank and VTB-BM Bank (part of VTB group), Prominvestbank (VEB) and VS Bank (Sberbank). They banned any financial transactions in favour of related persons, in particular the parent structures.
