Yesterday, 17 August, 20-th km of the Shchelkovskoe highway in the suburbs, two natives of Chechnya were attacked with machetes on the employee of traffic police. As a result of the incident, the inspector was injured and the attackers were shot by security forces, according to Russian newspaper Kommersant.

A DPS officer was seen standing by the road Caucasians, approached them with a requirement to produce documents. Then one of the men suddenly pulled out from the bag the axe and struck the policeman.

Another police officer saw the attack on a colleague from a Makarov pistol shot armed with the axe of the aggressor. However, as the newspaper notes, the second Chechen took the wounded inspector a gun and fired back, “and so neatly that wounded the second guard”. While trying to escape an attacker was shot dead by another employee of traffic police.

According to the source, both suspects were 18-and 21-year-old native of the Achkhoi-Martan district of Chechnya. In the pants pocket of one of them was found a receipt from a hardware store, which indicated that the axes were bought literally 20 minutes before the attack.

Once on the scene arrived investigative team and it was cordoned off, on the highway, from the MKAD, the huge stopper was formed.
