Automobile company Nissan Motor Co Ltd will recall 1.2 million vehicles sold in Japan over the past three years. It turned out that the final inspection was not carried out by authorized technicians, according to Reuters.

Nissan announced that it will recall of 1.21 million vehicles produced for the domestic market in the period from October 2014 to September 2017, including the most popular models – the Nissan Serena minivan and compact hatchback Nissan Note.

All the recalled vehicles will be re-inspection and final inspection for anomalies of the turning radius, braking system and acceleration of the engine, which will cost about 25 billion yen ($222 million).
