The head of the EU delegation to Ukraine Hugh Mingarelli considers that there is no need to continue to debate about necessity of creation of anti-corruption courts, as now they just need to create. He stated this at the EBA Annual General Membership Meeting, according to the EU delegation in Ukraine on his Twitter.
“No need for further discussion or debate on anti-corruption courts. Now they just need to implement with an eye on the recommendations of the Venice Commission”, – he said.
Mingarelli stressed that without strengthening the fight against corruption “will not be economic growth, investment, new jobs.”
“Give the anti-corruption organizations to do their work,” he added.
He also noted that the Ukrainians have the resources and talent, and you only need the rule of law.
“If there were political will, Ukraine could be more successful neighboring States,” said EU Ambassador.
On 16 November, the head of the EU delegation in Ukraine Hugh Mingarelli said that Ukraine is one of priority countries of the European Union.
