Ex-US President Barack Obama and former Secretary of state Hillary Clinton recognized as the most respected people in the United States, according to a survey from Gallup, reports Voice of America.
This year they again took first place, but with a smaller margin than before. Obama was chosen by 17% of respondents, second place with 14% went to the current President, Donald trump.
Clinton ahead of former first lady Michelle Obama with a score of 9% against 7%.
As specified, Clinton ranks first in the list of women that cause the greatest admiration, for 16 years in a row. She received the title 22 times, more than anyone else. Former first lady Eleanor Roosevelt won 13 times.
Obama has achieved a status as the most respected man in 10 times, second only to former President Dwight Eisenhower, who was ranked first 12 times.
