Just two weeks after the US President met with the Chinese leader in Beijing, the immediate predecessor of Donald trump intends to do the same. It is reported by Voice of America.

The 44th President of the United States Barack Obama also plans to meet this week in India with Prime Minister Narendra Moody, then fly to France.

The team’s former leader denies the idea that Obama is trying to undermine the efforts of the incumbent President or to overshadow his work.

“I would note that former presidents regularly visit other countries and meet with foreign leaders after leaving office,” said Obama’s Director of communications Katie hill.

“This trip is pretty standard for the President. There will be a few speeches, the Foundation of Obama, conversations with foreign leaders – it will be similar to other trips to Europe and South America, which he made in this year,” she added.

Trump has established close ties with President XI Jinping and modi in the first ten months in the White house.

According to some critics, a trump presidency undermines the global leadership role that America played after the Second world war.

Obama began his foreign tour on Tuesday in Shanghai, where he held private meetings and spoke at the summit on trade issues. Meeting with XI Jinping scheduled for Wednesday, when Obama will also participate in the forum on education.

In India, Obama planned several events, including a meeting with young leaders.

Then the former President will fly to Paris for meetings and participation in the summit of the industry of communications. According to local media, the President of France Emmanuel macron will take Obama for private dinner at the Elysee Palace.
