The OKKO group of companies from October 2017 intends to import natural gas from Poland for their own use and sale in Ukraine, the press service OKKO.

The company OKKO Contract received a license to supply natural gas in September 2017.

“Until recently, the natural gas market in Ukraine was over-regulated and opaque, however, the current liberalization gives us the chance not only successfully to start this business, but also to become a significant player on the Ukrainian gas market”, – said Vice-President of the OKKO Group Yuriy kuchabskyy.

Potential buyers of imported gas from OKKO will be the industrial customers, which are provided by the petroleum products from the network of OKKO, said in the holding.

“For those customers, OKKO Group will offer a comprehensive quotation. Also buyers can take advantage of flexible payment systems and purchased gas”, – said in the message OKKO.

OKKO Group plans to conclude contracts with several suppliers of natural gas and also purchase it directly on the European gas hubs. Also, the group is considering the sale of gas through a system of public tenders ProZorro.

Earlier it was reported that the owner of concern Galnaftogaz (network of filling stations “OKKO”) Vitaliy Antonov is starting the construction of year-round resort in the village Slavske Lviv region.
