National anti-corruption Bureau does not confirm the statement of the fugitive Deputy Oleksandr Onishchenko that the court in Spain denied the alleged official Kiev in the arrest and extradition of the main suspects of the so-called gas case. About it said a source in the NAB.

The Bureau says that the official answer from the competent authorities of Spain did not.

“…As well as from Italy. In Italy we didn’t send the request at all. That is, the information that NABU something it was denied, does not correspond to reality”, – stressed in the Department.

As writes the Ukrainian Pravda, referring to the words of Onishchenko, the court Audiencia Nacionale in Madrid lasted for 1,5 h and ended with a positive verdict for him.

“The court listened to the arguments of the prosecution, asked if I agree to voluntary extradition, I said no, and that my case is political persecution. The court found our arguments convincing enough to not apply to me arrest,” – said the MP.

On request about comments about the situation Onishchenko has not responded yet.
