The largest manufacturer of enterprise software and server hardware to Oracle next year will present a blockchain-based platform for supply chain management, says Business Insider.
“The blockchain is designed to fundamentally change existing business processes, making the interaction between companies more secure, transparent and efficient,” said senior Vice President of Oracle Cloud Platform Amit Zaveri.
The multifunctional platform is currently in beta testing. The underlying platform is the technology Hyperledger Fabric. This technology is used by companies such as IBM, Cisco, SAP and Intel.
Oracle joined blockchain consortium Hyperledger at the end of August.
“We are pleased with the support Hyperledger Fabric by Oracle. This is another confirmation that the market needs a standardized platform for enterprise solutions based on a distributed registry,” said Executive Director of the blockchain consortium Hyperledger Brian Behlendorf.
As reported, the international monetary Fund can go to blockchain technology in the future.
