Ukrzaliznytsia will share passenger transportation long-distance trains in three segments. Passengers will be offered the train categories: comfort, standard and economy. About it said acting head of the UZ Evgeny Kravtsov, reports UKRINFORM.
Kravtsov noted that the trains of “comfort” class will be formed exclusively using the latest rolling stock, but they will act accordingly economically justified tariff. The passengers will also train the “standard” – average price policy and economy – the social costs that the carrier must be reimbursed from the state budget.
Such segmentation of the trains will allow passengers to make informed choices depending on the wishes and receive a level of service that matches the category of the train, I think in the CL.
At the same time, the company noted that the majority of the costs of the rail carrier in the passenger sector now associated with the maintenance of rolling stock and infrastructure. The cost of expenses for transportation of passengers in long-distance communication for the first half of 2017 is 49.7 per cent for one passenger-mile, and commuter -106,1 cents.
Current tariffs for passenger transportations in the distant message while below cost on average three times, and in commuter 7-8 times. Because of this difference between the cost and the ticket prices to the costs of passenger carriage for 6 months of 2017 increased compared to the corresponding period last year by 15% and made 8,4 billion UAH.
