The President of the Philippines Rodrigo Duterte urged the U.S. to withdraw its special forces from the Islands to the South of the country. About it reports Reuters.

Duterte believes that the us military can complicate the fight against the Islamists.

“They have to go. I don’t want to fight with America. But they have to go. (…) The Americans, they (terrorists – ed.) do kill them, they will try to kidnap them for ransom,” he said.

The Americans is a valuable goal for the terrorist organization Abu Sayyaf, which is affiliated with the Islamic state, said Duterte.

The speaker of the State Department of the USA John Kirby said he did not know about the official’s call to withdraw troops.
