The Polish foreign Ministry is concerned about the escalation of the situation in the Donbass, which exacerbates the representatives of the Russian Federation from the Joint center for coordination and control (SCCC). This is stated in a statement published on his official website.

The Polish foreign Ministry noted that the number of ceasefire violations in the Donbas reached its highest level since January of 2017.

“We hope that the agreement on the ceasefire signed by the trilateral contact group and entered into force on 23 December, will be fully observed…” – said in a statement.

In the Polish Department believes that the tension in the Donbass exacerbated by the removal of Russia representatives of the JCCC. “Poland… is considering the move as another attempt to undermine the security of observers (OSCE – ed.) and further limit their movement. We firmly believe that the Russian side should immediately return to JCCC,” – said in a statement the foreign Ministry of Poland.

Earlier, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and President of France Emmanuel macron called for the return of the Russian officers in the joint center for control and coordination of ceasefire in Donbass (SCCC).

Poland also called on Russia to return its representatives to JCCC 23.12.2017
