The Polish gas company PGNiG signed a five-year contract to supply liquefied natural gas terminal Sabine Pass LNG Terminal in the United States. Gas will be supplied by British companies Centrica. About it reports a press-service of PGNiG.
“This agreement is the first of its kind in the planned portfolio of medium-term agreements on LNG to PGNiG. Most of these agreements are aimed at improving energy security in the region, which has historically dominated the Russian gas”,- is told in the message.
Earlier, PGNiG appealed to Gazproms a request to revise the pricing terms of long-term gas supply contract.
As reported, PGNiG received the opportunity to directly deliver gas to Ukraine.
