London police conducted a controlled explosion at Hyde Park corner near Buckingham Palace, where police discovered a suspicious parked car. This is stated in the police report on Twitter.

“We were dealing with a suspicious car at Hyde Park corner starting from 21:00. Around 21:40 was produced by a controlled explosion, the incident was over, the cordon removed,” – said in the message.


According to Daily Mirror, the area near the gardens of Buckingham Palace were cordoned off, blocked part of the Hyde Park and closed the nearest metro station is Hyde Park corner.

It is noted that Queen Elizabeth II in the Palace at that moment was not because she went to celebrate Christmas at his estate in Sandringham.
