According to the survey Institute Forsa for the German Chancellor Angela Merkel headed the government after the 2017 elections, are 59% of Germans. About it reports DW.

The vast majority of German citizens believe that it would be nice if Merkel again took office after the elections to the Bundestag.

Among supporters of the party Christian democratic Union (CDU) led by Merkel, her see the next Chancellor 87% of respondents, while among supporters of the Christian social Union, the re-election of Merkel supports only 60%.
