If the invader of Russia will show that it is able to perform its obligations under the Minsk process, then we can discuss the return of the Russian delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe. About this in his speech at the PACE session said the President Petro Poroshenko.

He recalled that the Assembly adopted a resolution on the political consequences for Russian aggression against Ukraine.

“It establishes that significant and visible progress of implementation can be the basis to restore full-fledged dialogue with the Assembly on the basis of mutual respect,” he explained.

According to Poroshenko, PACE reserves the right to cancel the credentials of the Russian delegation, if the occupation of part of Ukraine will continue.

“In fact, none of the criteria were not fulfilled by Russia… is There any reason to return to normal business with Russia in PACE or anywhere else? Let’s be sincere. The goal of the Russian aggression – to destroy democracy, liberal freedoms and human rights. In some places they do it on the tanks, in other fake news,” he concluded.
