In the East of Ukraine no “frozen conflict”, as trying to present this opposition by some politicians, there is a real war. In an interview with the British channel Sky News reported, President Petro Poroshenko, reports the press service of the head of state.
“Some people try to call it a frozen conflict. I emphasize – it’s not frozen. And this is hot Russian aggression against my country,” he said.
During the interview, said that from the beginning of 2017, the Ukraine has lost 69 troops and more than 420 soldiers were wounded, and occupied the East – more than 700 Russian tanks, more than 1,250 300 artillery systems and reactive systems of volley fire.
“Is this a frozen conflict? This is a real hot war is real aggression… Sanctions mechanism to keep Putin at the negotiating table. Putin pays a high price for the sanctions,” he said, expressing gratitude for the support of the US, EU, UK, Japan, Canada and Australia.

In this Poroshenko stressed that Russia is waging a hybrid war against other countries – with elements of cyber-attacks, the financing of populist and anti-government movements to destabilize the internal situation.
“Russia does not want to have a strong and United Europe. Russia does not want to have a strong and United Britain. It tends to divide and incite conflict. Glad these plans, Russia is not very effective”, – concluded the President.
