If presidential elections were held next Sunday, majority of Ukrainian voters who wished to vote, and undecided, would vote for the incumbent head of state Petro Poroshenko. This is evidenced by the results of a survey conducted by the sociological companies Socis, KMIS, Rating and Razumkov Center.

According to the study, Poroshenko would have voted for 16.1%, for Yulia Tymoshenko – 14,4%, Svyatoslav Vakarchuk is 12.1%. 9.3% of respondents would support Yuriy Boyko and Anatoly Gritsenko, 7,9% – Vadim Rabinovich, 7,5% – for Oleg Lyashko.

It is noted that the rating figures calculated based on those respondents who are undecided on their choice and participate in the voting.

Also, respondents were asked to make their own forecast of who will be the next President. The most likely winner in the presidential election of respondents believe Poroshenko is 19.2%. The victory of Tymoshenko predicts 10.1% of respondents.

A significant portion of respondents (42%) were unable to say who will be the next head of state.

According to the study, about 21% of voters currently do not know for whom to vote, and 18% do not plan to vote.

The survey was conducted 28 October – 14 November 2017 20 thousand respondents in all regions excluding residents of temporarily occupied Crimea and parts of Donbass. Method of research – personal formalized interview (face-to-face) at the place of residence of the Respondent.

Statistical sampling error amounted to no more than 0.7% at rates close to 50%, and not more than 0.4% at rates close to 10%.

According to the results of another poll conducted in may 2017 Rating group, 15% of those who intend to take part in elections and decided on a preference, would give their votes to Tymoshenko. Poroshenko voted would be 12% over the Boyko – 10,2%, Gritsenko and Rabinovich – on 10,1%, Lyashko – 9,6%.

A study of the Razumkov Center in April 2017, showed that Poroshenko voted would be 10.3% of respondents planning to participate in the elections, Tymoshenko – 9,5%, Gritsenko – 8,9%, for the Rabinovich – 8,1%, Lyashko was 7.8%.
