The postponement of a manned launch from the cosmodrome “Baikonur” is associated with a short circuit on the carrier rocket “Soyuz-FG”. This was reported by a source in the space industry, reports TASS.

“The preliminary reason for the postponement of the launch was a short circuit in the head fairing of the launch vehicle,” – said the Agency interlocutor.

According to him, the rocket is delivered to the missile-testing facility, fairing removed, the reasons of the incident.

“Pre-start may not be held before October,” – said the Agency interlocutor.

Earlier it was reported that the state Corporation “Roscosmos” has postponed the planned for 23 September launch of the spacecraft “Soyuz MS-02” for technical reasons.
