Problems with the launch of electronic Declaration affect the allocation of Ukraine tranche of the International monetary Fund (IMF) and the tranche of $1 billion under the state guarantees of the United States. About this Finance Minister Alexander danyluk said in an interview to the Economic truth.

“For me now the most important thing that happened to the system of electronic Declaration has not affected the cooperation with our Western partners – the IMF, the US government. E-Declaration started, that was envisaged in the Memorandum with the IMF. Starting the system without a security certificate in test mode – it is our invention. Undoubtedly, the system should be able to make the Declaration. Accordingly, the question arises as to whether the format in which it is running, to do this. There is a doubt. The same doubts have and our international partners,” – said danyluk.

He stressed that the system should be fully running until September 1. Without this, the allocation of the third tranche is under threat. “Moreover, without the IMF we will not be able to obtain $1 billion loan guarantee from the United States, 1.2 billion euros macro-financial support from the EU, and loans for the purchase of gas from European partners,” the Minister said.

If the system was fully operational from September 1, Ukraine will be able to count on the tranche in September, concluded danyluk.

Last week it was reported that the IMF sent a letter to the government of Ukraine, urging to correct immediately the shortcomings of the system of electronic Declaration and run it in full mode. “Without a certification system will not be working and would not meet the obligations under the program supported by the IMF. Therefore, we urge you to immediately correct this deficiency,” – said in the letter.
