Rock musician sting as a Guinea participated in a psychological study on the specificity of brain activity of musicians. This was announced by canadian psychologist Daniel Levitin, reports Contact Music.
Psychologists have created a “map” of the brain of a musician, which illustrates how he creates music.
“This is important because at the heart of musical skill is the ability to operate using its rich representation of the desired sound,” – said Levitin.
Sting himself invited the psychologist to participate in the study after he read the book Levitin.
The psychologist and his team now plan to use the same technology to learn how the athletes manage their thoughts during motor activity and, as writers in essay writing.
