Only 31 people’s Deputy supported the draft resolution on dismissal of Arsen Avakov from the post of Minister of internal Affairs No. 5041. For a positive decision the Verkhovna Rada is not enough 195 votes.

The most votes (13) for the resignation of the interior Minister gave individual MPs, among them Hanna hopko, Vladimir Parasyuk, Viktor Chumak, Andrii Illienko, Yuri Levchenko, Vice-speaker of Parliament Oksana Syroid.

In support of the dismissal of Avakov voted eight members of the faction Block Petro Poroshenko, including Sergiy Leshchenko, Mustafa Nayem and Svetlana Zalishchuk and the sponsors of the draft resolution Sergey Kaplin and Andrew Nemirovsky.

For the resignation of the interior Minister voted nine deputies from Self-help, in particular Oleg Berezyuk, semen Semenchenko, Yegor Sobolev. From the Fatherland dismissal of the Minister was supported only by Igor Lutsenko.

Not a single vote “for” wasn’t given the faction of the popular front, the Opposition bloc, the Radical party and the group of the Renaissance and the will of the people.

Against the dismissal of Avakov 102 MPs voted for it, 56 abstained. The full results of the voting are presented below.

Today, 7 November, the Rada failed to vote for the dismissal of interior Minister Arsen Avakov. The authors of the initiative Sergei Caplin and Andrew Nemirovsky in the draft resolution, filed in 2016, offered to dismiss Avakov for the “high crime rates”.
