Readmission of the former Governor of the Odessa region Mikhail Saakashvili was legal, but questions remain how it was done. This was announced by Commissioner for human rights Valeria Lutkovska in the air of channel 5.

“It was not this case of excessive use of force against the person. This is a question that remains. The question remains for transport. This is one of those questions that I asked and the border guard service and the migration service. There are still some procedural questions that relate to readmission. And there is still one question – is it possible to make the readmission of the person from whom today the status of the accused,” – said Lutkovska.

The Commissioner said she has a question, which is open against Saakashvili’s criminal case.
