Published yesterday in the state media of the DPRK pictures from a new photoshoot to the Supreme leader of the country show how Kim Jong-UN inspects equipment at the tractor factory, riding on one of the tractors and laughing with the workers. Shortly before it was removed by staff photographers of the government on farms, factories, light industry, plants for the production of cosmetics and so on, writes Reuters.
This trend in the image of the leader, believes the Agency and the experts on North Korea, is a planned temporary departure from the military-style for the last months, when the dictator was photographed together with the military, with a nuclear bomb, ballistic missiles, and the command posts of the army.
“In the period from 21 June to 20 September, Kim was not seen in public in anything that is related to the economy. Instead, he focused almost exclusively on military Affairs. The renewal of its social and economic activities coincided with a lull in the testing of the missiles. North Korea did not launch any missiles and conducted a nuclear test since September 15,” reports South Korean unification Ministry.
Re-focus on economic development could be an attempt to increase the popularity of the country’s leadership among North Koreans, said the Bike Tae Hyun, a representative of the office.

It is also possible that North Korea begins to feel the impact of the international sanctions reinforced after its sixth and most powerful nuclear test in September, and a leading position in the country could falter, say the scientists at Seoul national University. Kim Jong-UN, just “doing what he does best – encouraging its people for fast economic growth and increase in production.”

The Agency reports that although fuel prices in North Korea have risen sharply, the cost of maize and rice has remained approximately at the same level which was before the tightening of sanctions.
“After the summer, when flying flaming missiles and the Peninsula was rocked by earthquake, nuclear test, the DPRK media portray Kim Jong UN as a leader who has temporarily traded the weapon on workshops,” according to Reuters.
