In Romania, the national Council on television and radio refused to grant a license to broadcast in the country the Russian TV channel RTR. About it reports UKRINFORM.

The refusal was unanimous, all nine members of the Council.

Member of the Board Valentin Beetle explained that there is a danger that the channel will show the Pro-Russian propaganda and false information about the EU and the USA.

His colleague Dorin Rusu noted that in Moldova channel RTR repeatedly fined for biased coverage of events in Ukraine and anti-European propaganda.
