The investigative Committee of Russia opened a criminal case on the fact of murder in Kiev ex-Deputy of the state Duma of the Russian Federation Denis Boronenkov. It is reported RIA Novosti citing a source close to the investigation.

According to the report, the matter was entrusted to the investigator of IC of the Russian Federation Denis Geranova, who led the case of fraud, where Voronenkov was a suspect.

March 23, 2017, shortly before noon in the center of Kiev were shot by the ex-Deputy of the state Duma Denis Voronenkov, who previously received Ukrainian citizenship, and testifying in the case of treason Yanukovych. During the attack, the gunman was wounded by a security guard Boronenkov, he later died in hospital. It was later released the shooter’s name. He was a Ukrainian Pavel Parsow, who served previously in the national guard, which was dismissed for failure to comply with the terms of the contract.
