Russian Railways on December 11, 2017 fully translate passenger long-distance trains on the new railway bypassing Ukraine. This is reported by Russian RIA Novosti.
According to the Director of Railways for passenger transport Dmitry Pegov, Russian Railways in September 2017 launched on new bypass freight trains, in mid-November – a passenger who went without interruption on the old line.
On 29 November the Minister of transport of Russia Maxim Sokolov said that all trains to the end of 2017 will be transferred to the new railway bypassing Ukraine. 62 pairs 30 pairs of passenger and freight trains will start to go around Ukraine via Voronezh and Rostov region until the end of 2017.
Double-track electrified line began to build at the zhuravka-Millerovo in 2014.
Railways from 10 December this year introduced a new train schedule in 2017/2018 years.
