The Russian military leadership is trying to strengthen the conduct of hostilities and to strengthen the artillery fire on the temporarily occupied territories of Donbass. To this end, on the East of Ukraine transferred additional units of the armed forces in an amount sufficient for the formation of a new brigade. This was at the briefing said the representative of the Main intelligence Directorate Vadim Skibitsky, the correspondent ЛІГА.net.

“To cover the locations of the brigade on the territory of Ukraine moved anti-aircraft missile battalion from the 60-th separate motorized rifle brigade, town monastyrishche, Primorsky Krai, 5-th combined arms army of the Eastern military district of Russia”, – he said.

Military intelligence found that the unit consists of 168 people, 21 unit of combat equipment and 30 vehicles. The personnel of the battalion – only officers and contract servicemen, including those who arrived in the division from other units of the 5th army.

“Appreciate the redeployment of anti-aircraft missile battalion of the 60th brigade as the growing threat of air terrorism for all aerial objects, including civilian aircraft,” he said.

According to him, the arms of the division are ultramodern powerful air defense complexes tor-M2U that are “no less effective in combat use than the SAM Buk.
