Detained yesterday the Deputy head of Protocol of the Prime Minister Stanislav Yezhov declared suspicion. Reports a press about it-service SBU.

“The detainee it is declared suspicion in Commission of high treason, namely an act intentionally committed a Ukrainian citizen to the detriment of the defense, territorial integrity, inviolability, security of the state, in the form of assistance to a foreign state, the Russian Federation, in conducting subversive activities against Ukraine. This form of high treason, in contrast to espionage, does not provide for statements that are passed to foreign intelligence services, certainly was a state secret,” – said the Deputy head of the Main investigation Department Vitaly Beacons.

SBU investigators are preparing a petition for election Yezhov measures of restraint in form of detention.

The Department also reported that the officer was collecting information on foreign travel and negotiations of Prime Minister Vladimir Groisman.

The evening of 20 December, the SBU said about the detention of allegedly exposed in the Russian intelligence services officials of the Cabinet Secretariat. Law enforcement officials believe that the official was recruited by the Russian intelligence services during long trips abroad. Later it became known that the detained employee of the Cabinet is the assistant to the Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman, Stanislav Yezhov. His wife has Russian citizenship. Yezhov himself was working on the Groisman meetings with world leaders.
