President Petro Poroshenko prevented the ex-Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk, after his resignation everything was “going well.” This was stated by the resigned head of the Odessa regional state administration Mikhail Saakashvili during a briefing in Odessa, reports channel 112.
“Six months ago, in April I went to the President and said I can’t work. We all deceive people. All the promises that we together gave when he put me here. Before the local elections, when we went and many of you walked with us, we said “we do this, we’ll do that.” Nothing has been done. He (Poroshenko – ed.) I said, “you’ll see, together we will get rid of Yatsenyuk and alive, and everything will go well.” This he told me back in January, by the way,” – said Saakashvili.
November 7, Saakashvili resigned from the post of head of the Odessa regional state administration. Commenting on the strong statements of the former Governor, the President Poroshenko said, “someone decided to go into politics”.
