The SBU stressed that measures to block the movement of railway transport of the participants of the blockade – have signs of illegal activity.
We are talking about article 278 Hijacking or seizure of railway rolling stock, aircraft, sea or river vessel, article 279 of Blocking transport communications, and seizure of transport enterprises , article 280 of Coercion for workers to neglect their duties in the Penal code.
Blockade ORDO also creates the possibility of disrupting the stable functioning of energy system of Ukraine.
“Taking into account the presence in Ukraine five thermal power plants that produce up to 15% of thermal generation, the lack of supplies of anthracite coal will lead to a shortage of generating capacity in the United energy system and forced to implement a schedule of rolling blackouts of consumers,” the statement reads.
The statement also said that the blockade causes direct damage to the state.
“From 25 January to ORDA left 385 cars 26950 tons of coal with a total value of 35 million UAH. The blockade will lead to an increase in the number of citizens who after losing their jobs (nearly 150 thousand people) will have given 40% less set in the so-called army divisions ORDO, to join the ranks of terrorists”, – the statement stresses.
In SBU added that this negatively affects the process of liberation of the Ukrainian hostages.
On 26 January the head of the SBU Vasily Gritsak, commenting on the blocking of the railway in the Luhansk region, said that MPs should not take part in it.
In the Luhansk region on the railway, the blockade announced the possible destruction of highways in the event of acceleration.
