Security service warns about new wave of large-scale cyber attacks on government agencies and private companies.

This is stated in the message security services.

“The main goal is to disrupt regular functioning of the information systems that could destabilize the situation in the country”, – stated in the message

The specialists of the security service received information that the attack can be performed using updates, including publicly available software. The mechanism is similar cyber-attacks conducted in June 2017.

To prevent unauthorized blocking of information systems, SBU recommends:

– to update signatures anti-virus software on servers and workstations.

– implement redundancy of information processed on computer equipment;

– provide daily update of the system software.
