Ukrainians urged to write letters to the victims of the Russian regime – the Crimean political prisoners Oleg Sentsov and Alexander Kolchenko. About this on air of the Crimea.Realities said the coordinator of the project Without borders, Maxim Butkevych.

“Just a couple of days ago I received a letter from Sasha Kolchenko. He explains that he makes as he lives. He writes that physical violence to him do not apply, accommodation and meals that can be expected from zones in the Russian Federation, in the conditions in which he lives. He reads a lot, he stayed true to himself in this, he gave me a list of about 15 books that he read recently. Ranging from Cervantes and the “poet” and ending with books in social psychology from the library, which is in the area where he resides. Of course, psychologically and physically very difficult conditions, especially because we are constantly making allowances for the fact that all the letters illustrious”, – he said.

Butkevich also reported on the conditions in which there is Oleg Sentsov.

“Oleg, too, as far as I know, tries to keep cool, and there all good, but that area. And, remember, it is a zone of strict regime. Sasha Kolchenko 10 years, Oleg – 20”, – he said.

The human rights activist appealed to Ukrainians with a request to write to the Crimean prisoners, because of the letters to political prisoners – “the only source of information about what is happening in the surrounding world.”

In August 2015 the North Caucasus district military court has sentenced the Ukrainian Director Oleg Sentsov, forcibly taken to Russia by 20 years of strict regime. Accomplice Sentsova Russian investigators did Alexander Kolchenko – he was given 10 years in a strict regime colony. Human rights organizations consider the charges groundless and politically motivated.
