In the European Union will appoint a public Prosecutor for corruption in the use of budget funds. The initiative includes only 16 member countries, the Agency UKRINFORM.

“Sixteen member countries reported the three institutions (Council of the EU, the European Commission and the European Parliament – ed.) on the intention to deepen cooperation in the field of implementation of the office of European public Prosecutor. It will be mandated to investigate, prosecute and bring to justice the assault on the financial interests of the EU”, – stressed in the 16 countries of the Community.

The initiative was joined by countries such as Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Cyprus, Germany, Greece, Spain, Finland, France, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia and Slovakia.
