Today NASA held a new stage of tests of the RS-25 engine, which is required to launch the most powerful rocket in the world at deep space distances.

Four of these engines will form the basis of rocket Space Launch System (SLS) that will launch the spacecraft Orion.

The test lasted 7.5 minutes. The test, which should allow to improve the engine, checks the movement of high temperature and pressure.

30 Jul successfully passed the previous phase of testing of the engine.
