Social network Vkontakte has updated the music section on all platforms for Russian users, for Ukrainian users, the change will take effect in the near future, according to AIN with reference to information of the company.
To listen to audio in the official application Vkontakte, as before, will be free.
The company also integrates the mobile application with a service music subscription Boom. After you upgrade the application Vkontakte for iOS and Android, they will appear the advertisements between tracks – but not yet for users in Ukraine. Android continues to maintain tracks in the cache for offline listening. This feature will be available by subscription in the app Boom, which will cost the Ukrainians in 85 UAH per month. Making a paid subscription will also disable the commercials in audiotactile on all platforms.
The app Boom is a joint project Mail.Ru Group, which owns Vkontakte, and United Media Agency, which acts as an intermediary between a holding and music majors.
The updated section of audio will appear playlists. Users and communities can create, send, via private messages or post in group or page. To change and service music recommendations, which now analyzes listened tracks. Recommended tracks and artists gathered in several subgroups: music, friends, playlists, community, new albums and young performers. The tracks will appear with album covers that Vkontakte is taken from public sources.
We will remind, earlier it was reported that the messenger Telegram created by Pavel Durov, who created Vkontakte earlier, will be a function of making payments.
