South Korea has launched a ballistic missile Genmu-2 in response to the next launch of the DPRK. It is reported Yonhap news Agency citing the joint chiefs of staff.

“Our armed forces simultaneously with the missile launch in North Korea launched a missile “Genmu-2″ in the direction of the sea of Japan”, – says the statement of the Committee.

Rocket Korean military flew 250 kilometers. It’s about the same distance as before the missile launch site in North Korea airport, Sunan airport, which is located in Pyongyang.

It is noted that in South Korea was immediately convened meeting of the Council of national security and troops in the country conducted training of ballistic missiles in the East sea in response to the latest provocation of the North.

Today, 15 September, North Korea launched another missile unidentified type from Pyongyang, which flew over Japanese territory and fell into the Pacific ocean near the island of Hokkaido.

The North Korean authorities published yesterday, September 14, a statement which has threatened nuclear attacks on the United States and Japan, noting that Japan no longer needed and demanded “to disband the useless UN security Council” because of the tightening sanctions.

On 12 September the UN security Council voted unanimously for new sanctions against North Korea after the sixth and largest nuclear test of Pyongyang. In response to the sanctions, Pyongyang not only refused the development of nuclear-missile program, but also promised to speed it up.

Russia’s permanent representative to the UN, Vasily Nebenzia said that will insist on the consideration by the UN security Council’s methods of political influence on the DPRK, proposed by Russia and China opposing sanctions.
