Jamaican Sprinter Usain Bolt won the ninth Olympic gold medal and third gold in Rio de Janeiro in the men’s 4x100m relay. Reported by the BBC.

Third final in a row the race was won by team of Jamaica, Bolt ran on the last fourth stage of the race.

Silver was won by Japan, the third came to the finish team USA, but she was disqualified for stepping on the track, so bronze was given to Canada.

The bolt is now in third place among athletes in the number of won Olympic gold medals.

Earlier runner had previously stated that the Rio Olympics will be the last in his career.

29-year-old Usain Bolt in 2009 set a world record in the 100 meters in 9,58 seconds. Olympic record for that distance also belongs to him – of 9.69 seconds.
