A Christmas tree stood only 24 hours in the most famous shopping gallery Umberto I of Naples, before someone stole it. About it reports The Local.
The report said that by Friday morning there were only a few branches, a couple of toys and the fallen stump of a tree, solemnly installed on Thursday, which gave one of the oldest institutions of the city – Gran Caffe Gambrinus.
The thieves cut down the tree, probably with a chainsaw, along with all the decorations.
It is noted that this is not the first case when in the gallery to steal a Christmas tree, but this is a record short period of time that the tree stood for. In previous years the Christmas tree, or its pieces were found by the police in different neighborhoods of Naples, as the townspeople burn her at the stake traditional January 17.
