The foreign Ministers of Germany, France and Poland, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, Jean-Marc Ayrault and Witold Waszczykowski called for de-escalation of the conflict in the Donbass. This reports the press service of the foreign Ministry of Germany.

“We must continue to strive to deescalate conflict to respect the ceasefire and political compromise and for that we need the willingness of the conflicting parties to compromise,” said Steinmeier during a joint press conference of the foreign Ministers of the three countries in Weimar.

Earlier, Steinmeier said that the annexation of Crimea by Russia is threatening security in Europe.
