The Dutch authorities will conduct an investigation into how a convicted for war crimes, the Croatian General Slobodan Praljak managed to smuggle the poison in the courtroom of the Hague. This was reported by Bi-bi-si.

Investigators want to know who gave the poison General, and what was its content.

Also they are interested in how the General had carried a poison into the courtroom, which was heavily guarded.

November 29 2017 at the Hague during a meeting of the international Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia, the Croatian General Slobodan praljak began to present took poison after he read out the verdict of the appellate court. He later died in hospital.

Praljak was sentenced to 20 years imprisonment in 2013 for the crimes in East Mostar.
