The Armenian delegation left the session hall in Kiev, where he was to open the session of the parliamentary Assembly of the black sea economic cooperation (PABSEC), in protest against “violation of the traditions and essence” of the organization. The corresponding statement of the delegation was published on the website of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia (RA NA) on Wednesday, November 29.
“The opening of the 50th jubilee session of the Assembly, when members of the delegations waited in the hall for about an hour, it became clear that the initiative of the PABSEC Secretary General and head of the Ukrainian delegation, the heads of all delegations were isolated for the discussion of any question. Only the head of the RA NA delegation was not invited to this discussion. We qualify this as an insult to not only the Armenian delegation, but of all the delegations and General structure,” – said in a statement.
In the Parliament of Armenia assessed the incident as “a violation of the traditions and essence of the” BSEC and stated that a 25-year history of the Assembly “such a case has never been.”
“This is unacceptable and reprehensible for any parliamentary Assembly. In protest of the Armenian delegation left the hall of Assembly,” – said in a statement.
